Alan is an experienced lawyer, lobbyist and nonprofit director. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill and Georgetown University Law Center, he worked in government and advocacy in both Washington, D.C. and Raleigh, NC. His work included serving as a chief advisor to the state Attorney General, Speaker of the House and Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court. Alan has been instrumental in establishing and managing several nonprofit businesses and has served as the first Executive Director of the N.C Association of Food Banks since 2010.

Cindy has 13 years of experience in the produce industry including procurement, operations, general management, logistics, sales and marketing. Her knowledge base includes expanding business, increasing revenues, productivity enhancement, profitability improvement, strategic planning, food safety, logistics, negotiations, forecasting, team leadership and collaboration and excellent communication skills. Cindy attended the State University of New York College at Brockport where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.
